Data we do not collect
Hajj Talks does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not collect, store, or transmit your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifying information.
The app contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party trackers of any kind.
Location permission
The app requests "while in use" location access for one purpose: powering the Qibla direction finder, which points toward the Kaaba from wherever you are standing.
Content stored on your device
Some features save information only on your phone, using standard on-device storage:
- Personal notes you write in My Notes
- Your progress through the packing checklist
- Your progress through the Hajj/Umrah step-by-step guide
None of this is uploaded to any server. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes it.
App content delivery
Guides, duas, articles, and images are fetched from our content server so we can correct or add content without shipping a new app version, and are cached on your device so the app keeps working offline. These requests are standard network calls and carry no personal or device-identifying information beyond what any app-to-server request requires.
Children's privacy
Hajj Talks does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, and its religious/educational content is suitable for general audiences.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same web address with a revised effective date above.
